Pencil and Charcoal Drawings

Bob was born in Chattanooga and raised in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.  After a tour of duty in the U.S. Army he attended Texas A&M and the University of Alabama graduating in math and physics.   He spent most of his 30-year career as an international petroleum exploration geophysicist.  Following retirement he and his wife took courses in cattle management before they moved to their ranch in Texas.  While at his ranch he took up wood carving as a hobby, and later after having moved to Lakeway and at the age of 80,  he began drawing.  Most of his drawings are in pencil and his focus is primarily portraits of people.  His favorite subjects are Native Americans and religious art.
